  UniFi OS is an advanced operating system that serves as the host for all UniFi applications, enabling clients to manage their network infrastructure from any location globally. As part of our comprehensive approach, Online Consulting furnishes our clients with essential equipment, including UniFi switches and access points, alongside a UDM Pro device to complete their network. Our team of experts manages this equipment and the network as a whole, ensuring that they remain updated and secure at all times. This proactive approach enables us to monitor the network and equipment efficiently, thereby preempting any potential security vulnerabilities and guaranteeing seamless operations for our clients.
  
  Updates, Port Management and IP Block – At Online Consulting, we recognize the critical importance of maintaining a dynamic security posture to protect our client’s network infrastructure. To this end, our UniFi equipment’s firmware is updated automatically on a weekly basis, reflecting our commitment to ensuring that our systems remain up-to-date and secure against evolving threats.
  
  In addition, we utilize the port management function to block all incoming connections except those we explicitly allow. This enables us to strictly control access to our client’s networks, allowing only authorized users and specific machines to connect.
  
  Furthermore, in the event of a failed connection attempt, we leverage the IP block feature, which promptly blocks the associated IP address and notifies our team. This robust security mechanism applies to all users who fail the verification process, including authorized users. Any blocked IP addresses remain inaccessible unless we manually unblock them from our end, providing a further layer of protection to our client’s networks.
